Ace Space and Mark Twain are storytellers. Ace Space became more radical with age. He never thought about being a conservative until it was late. In fact, Ace Space quite enjoyed living on the edge. It is said that a storyteller’s function is still his primative oral form of defining, illustrating and limiting the concerns that space is producing. This is not generally realized. Cartography of space, then, is in order.

Ace Space climbed Cold Mountain because it is there.  Ace Space knows that there are no limits on mountains. There is no mystery in the mountains but only the mystery of space .  This is the mystery of Cold Mountain.

 Ace Space always connects with people no matter where he goes. While in Amsterdam, Ace Space travelled extensively connecting with people. He experiemented with storytelling on his roadshows. The interactive adaptations and interpretations of personal stories led Ace Space to a number of clients involved with developing personal performance using stories as a metaphor. Ace Space also participated in conferences to teach his techniques of digital storytelling as a method of improving personal performance.

The storyteller is like the scientist who can fix anything by cleaver adaption of the materials and tools at hand. The scientist studies the problem in the abstract. The storyteller studies the problem too then describes the solution in a way we understand using the raw materials at hand. In the final analysis, the difference between the scientist and the storyteller may come down to counting in one’s head rather than counting on one’s very concrete fingers. Storytelling is an evolutionary process. It does not make life boring or meaningless. Stand on the sea shore and look at the sea. Is it boring, is it ever boring? Yet there it is, motion without progress, forever.

Ace Space went to Amsterdam where he worked as an educator. He continued to experiment with photography and write poetry. Ace Space met Bjorn Frie in Amsterdam. When Ace Space was young he was never a radical. He always feared it would make him too conservative later in life.

We are all connected. Ace Space brings us together.

Ace Space grew up in Victoria, BC and attended university there. He earned a degree in Physics and Fine Arts at the Univeristy of Victoria. Early in his career, Ace Space worked both as educator and an artist. He continued his studies in Physics and went on to earn a Masters Degree before he became a storyteller. He also worked with photography and publishing. Ace Space still experiements with photography & story telling. He became a well respected storyteller. Ace Space continues with his roadshow and storytelling. It is said that it’s only a story, but Ace Space says, “there’s only story.” There are stories which shatter the deep structure of our accepted world and thereby render clear and evident the relativity of space itself.
